Shocking Video: NASCAR Driver Miraculous Survival as Car Barrel Rolls at Daytona Ryan Preece Awake and Alert

During the closing laps of the NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday night, an intense incident unfolded. Ryan Preece’s Ford was unexpectedly jolted from behind, sending it skidding towards the grassy apron. Unfortunately, this motion dragged Stewart-Haas Racing teammate Chase Briscoe into the turmoil.

The situation took a dramatic turn when Preece’s Ford hit the transition area of the chicane along the backstretch. The impact launched the car into the air, causing it to initiate a series of barrel rolls. The car flipped over multiple times in mid-air before finally coming to a halt on its wheels, having completed at least a dozen barrel rolls.

Following the harrowing incident, Preece was promptly taken to the infield care center for assessment. He was then transported to Halifax Health Medical Center, where he is under observation. According to a team statement, Preece was conscious, alert, and able to move. He also managed to stay in touch with his family and friends. The next evaluation for Preece was scheduled for Sunday morning.

Despite the chaos, Chris Buescher emerged as the victor of the race, while Bubba Wallace secured the final spot among the 16 NASCAR Playoff contenders.
