Elon Musk and Grimes Privately Welcome Their Third Child, Revealed in Upcoming Biography

In a surprising revelation, tech magnate Elon Musk confirmed the birth of his third child via a post on his social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter). This revelation came to light following an early review of Walter Isaacson’s upcoming biography on Musk, where the child’s name was disclosed. Prior to this announcement, Elon Musk and the “Miss Anthropocene” artist were known to have a 3-year-old son and a 1-year-old daughter.

According to Musk’s X post, their newest addition is named Tau Techno Mechanicus, though the biography states that the child’s legal name is Techno Mechanicus Musk, affectionately called Tau. The baby boy was born through a surrogate in June 2022, as revealed in an advance copy of the biography. The nickname “Tau” was inspired by the mathematical constant representing twice the value of pi (approximately 6.28), a clever nod to Musk’s birthday on June 28.

Walter Isaacson’s extensive 688-page biography, “Elon Musk,” which is set to be released soon, provides further insights into Musk’s family life.

This revelation comes shortly after Grimes responded to an X post by Isaacson promoting the biography, in which she shared photos of Musk with two of their children. Her message, which expressed a desire to see her son and addressed legal matters, was later deleted. Grimes and Musk, aged 35 and 52, respectively, had a relationship from around 2018 to 2022. Together, they welcomed a son named X Æ A-Xii in May 2020 and a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl in December 2021.

As of now, representatives for Grimes and Musk have not responded to requests for comment.
