“Flogging Molly Concert Abruptly Canceled at Roseland Theater in Portland Due to Credible Threat of Violence”

Concert attendees in Portland encountered an unexpected disruption to their plans when the Roseland Theater announced the cancellation of the highly anticipated Flogging Molly show scheduled for Tuesday evening.

The theater conveyed through a Facebook post that the band had opted to cancel their sold-out performance due to a “credible threat of violence against the venue.” In light of this, the safety of everyone involved, including fans, crew, staff, and band members, was prioritized.

In a public statement, Flogging Molly’s band members emphasized their concern for the safety of all and expressed their eagerness to return to Portland for a rescheduled performance once circumstances permit.

Fans who had already made their way to the venue were advised to head home, while those en route were advised not to come to the venue.

For those who had purchased tickets via the Etix website, the Roseland Theater assured automatic refunds. The venue extended apologies for any inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude for the audience’s understanding.

The Roseland management subsequently clarified that the threat was specific to the scheduled show and did not pose an ongoing risk to the venue.
